Liang Mei is a passionate and skilled game designer and Unity developer with a strong focus on improving player experience through creative problem-solving. With over three years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams, Liang has successfully transformed innovative ideas into polished games. Many of Liang's projects, developed during his undergraduate Digital Media studies at York University, have been publicly showcased at various industry events, highlighting expertise in level design, gameplay programming, technical art integration, and game development process.
Outside of academic work, Liang is an active participant in Game Jams, where he has honed fast prototyping skills and gained valuable experience in gathering and applying critical feedback to iterate designs. Liang also excels in leadership and team management, with experience in mentoring Unity beginners and guiding teams through complex development challenges.
Currently studying at the Centre for Digital Media, Liang is further refining his skills and leadership capabilities, focusing on advancing technical expertise and collaborative accountability.
