Class of:
Dec 2019 (Cohort 13)

Profession:
Artist / Designer

Negeen graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Communications, and directed focus in public relations, content creation/production, and social research. In addition, she later grew within film and design while attending the School of Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT) program. During her undergraduate studies, she focused on expanding her creative skills through various mediums like, graphic and print design, video and film, and printmaking.

As Negeen delved further into the content creation and production industry, she follows a personal analogy that strongly resonated with her style of work: ""Sometimes you have to think like a DJ"". What she means by this is that as a DJ, no matter what multi-platinum song you use, you have to be able to take it and make it your own while also catering to your audience. It is important to her to try to apply this analogy to any project, whether creative or academic, in order to express her ideas creatively within any respected medium.

“We live in a changing world of media and communications. It is my hope that the next stage of my journey provides me with the additional tools that I need to stay current and contribute to our evolving world.”
