Hua is a versatile creative hailing from ad-land. She is an interdisciplinary designer slash art director with a Bachelor of Arts focused on Advertising and Design from the University of Sunderland. Her professional career began in graphic design with McCann Worldgroup. Since then, she has found herself traversing through the advertising industry alongside various global agencies. Hua's experiences throughout her career has made her adaptable and immensely familiar with the intricacies of project work.

As a creative, Hua is driven by her curiosity for emerging design, technology, and engaging stories. Trained in creative strategy, she is able to research and provide insight for 360-degree campaigns, as well as navigate various sides of the creative spectrum, from copywriting, to motion and graphic design, to illustrating and storyboarding.

Her interest for exploring both traditional and new areas of design led her to pursue a graduate degree at the CDM where she aims to expand her skillset in interactive and user experience design. Hua is a firm believer of designing for empowerment and she aspires to nurture positive social change through immersive, tech-driven experiences. She has hopes that her MDM journey would give her the creative space and collaborative environment to work alongside people from different disciplines and develop immersive, impactful projects in an innovative, digital-friendly city.

A big fan of everything the Adobe Creative Suite has to offer, Hua is well versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, and Audition, to name a few. Her experience with animating and designing has also equipped her with a long fuse and troubleshooting prowess. Outside the studio, you might find her thrifting, indulging in her passion for movies, or curating playlists for every occasion.
