Youxi (Iris) Zeng completed her undergrad in Computer Science in China, from which she experienced interdisciplinary learning that incorporates programming, video editing, UI design. 

Her most remarkable achievement among her undergraduate projects was a VR based training application that visualized the assembly procedures of electron microscopes. As a visual designer and secondary programmer of this project, she leveraged her UI designing skill and programming skill to implement the functionality of the application via HTC Vivi VR devices. 

Hence, fascinated by digital media, she joined in the Pre-MDM program as a postgraduate in Vancouver, where she had equipped herself with various design thinking alongside prototype design skills.

Currently, as a student from the MDM program, she is hoping to enrich her professional knowledge in digital media field while collaborating with creative peers from different cultural and educational backgrounds. Her interest along this program lies within the new media industry especially in video production and design.
