Cole is a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, having served almost 9 years as a Communications Systems Technician working on radios, servers and networks in the army. After leaving the army he started studying Computer Science at Simon Fraser University, where he has had internships at British Columbia Investment Management and Amazon Web Services. He is interested in developing data-centric and human-centric artificial intelligence systems and recommendation systems.
