Ellen is a fourth-year computer science student at the University of British Columbia. Her first exposure to the collaboration of math and art was in grade nine when she read an article about mathematicians developing an algorithm to model snow in Disney’s Frozen. This influenced her decision to major in Computer Science, where she enjoys employing both creativity and math in areas such as computer graphics and computer vision. Upon graduation, Ellen hopes to apply her passion of math and art to her future career.

On Team FlashoVR, Ellen works as a developer. She is excited to work with and learn from her teammates with multifaceted backgrounds, who have invaluable experience and knowledge.
