Tasked with creating a mobile game that would help Japanese game publishing juggernaut Namco Bandai better adapt to the North American video game market, this CDM project team adopted the name “ShiroKuma”. Japanese for “polar bear”, this name seemed like a natural fit for a team bridging Japanese and Canadian game design philosophies.

ShiroKuma is currently working on the design and development of a prototype iOS title targeting the North American social – casual game market. This project will be delivered to the new Namco Bandai game studio opening in Vancouver this summer.
