Centre for Digital Media (CDM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Tam as its new Chair of the Board of Directors. Bill, a prominent leader in BC's technology sector, brings over two decades of experience as an entrepreneur, executive, investor, and advisor to the role.
Bill’s extensive background in both the public and private sectors, combined with his deep understanding of digital ecosystems, positions him as a key figure in advancing digital media and technology initiatives in Canada. Bill co-founded the Digital Technology Supercluster, a federal initiative aimed at driving R&D collaboration and scaling high-potential Canadian technologies. He also serves on the Steering Committee of the Cascadia Innovation Corridor, a cross-border partnership linking BC, Washington, and Oregon as a global hub of innovation and commerce. He is a former CEO of the BC Tech Association and has been instrumental in fostering collaborations across industries to accelerate innovation. He remains actively involved with several boards and committees supporting innovation and education throughout the region.
