Lively Web

Back to Projects

The Lively Web team at the CDM, supported by students at UBC and UVic, are working with researchers at SAP to improve and streamline the Lively Web User Experience. The Lively Web is a browser-based runtime and development environment with graphical composition written fully in JavaScript using standard browser graphics. Along with its application development abilities, the Lively Web can also function as its own integrated development environment (IDE), making it completely self-sufficient. The CDM team will concentrate on creating an interactive and instantly appealing first-time experience by completely redesigning the Lively “world” interface. Other deliverables include the Core Design Document, design standards, hands-on tutorials, social media presence and a fresh look and feel by rebranding Lively Web.

UBC student Alexia Lou is also on this team
