Jacky Ip Wing Lap is a multimedia designer with 4 years of working experience in the Game Industry and Video Industry in Hong Kong. Jacky holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts (BCA) degree in Digital Media from Flinders University in Australia and an Associate in Art (AA) Degree in Digital Media Arts from Bellevue College in the United States. Jacky can speak fluent English and Cantonese, and understand a little bit of Mandarin.
Prior to MDM, Jacky worked as a 3D artist in a Hong Kong local game studio for 2.5 years and as a video editor in a United Kingdom based figurine manufacturing company named First 4 figures. Due to the fast-paced working environment in Hong Kong, media production works are always ad-hoc jobs. Designers get to handle a wide range of jobs in order to meet the deadlines. Working in this high-pressure working environment for 4 years, Jacky has become a quick learner, and is able to handle stress and pressure very well.
In his free time, Jacky enjoys gaming since childhood (he’s been an e-sports player for 2 years). He is also an expert airsoft player with 13 years of experience modifying and repairing airsoft systems. Jacky also holds a Manual Lifting & Handling Training Certificate from Hong Kong Occupational Safety & Health Council, which allows him to do labour work in Hong Kong. He has developed a wide range of soft skills to support him in different career path.
