Lujia recieved her Bachelor Degree of Art in Communication at the University of China located in Beijing. Her studies primarily focused on 2-D illustration, 3-D art, game design, UI design and 3D animation.
Always working collaboratively within teams, she was involved in several games as game designer, concept/2-D artist, 3D designer and map editor. ULI’S WORLD, a game made during junior year with her team, won first prize at the ID@XBOX competition held by Microsoft China. It was also nominated “Best Student Game"" at Indieplay, one of the most prominent events related to indie games. Lujia returned to these same roles for the final projects of her undergraduate degree, which she used to explore new methods of conveying a wide array of emotions in her work.
She spends much of her free time developing more advanced skills in illustration and works as a freelance artist.
Through the MDM program, she hopes to strengthen her ability in art design and broaden her knowledge of digital media, especially within the gaming industry.
