Paul works, lives, and makes stuff in East Vancouver. His interests are grounded in the everyday: the simple design of a document, the colours and textures of obsolete objects or the taste of a garden-grown tomato.
With a BA in Communication from SFU and an MA in Media Studies from Concordia University, Paul has pursued his interests through the creation of everyday things that are both functional and compelling to others. In 2011, he co-founded Archinodes, a process-oriented research design laboratory that focuses on digital storytelling and archiving.
Paul is entering the MDM program with a specific purpose. Having designed prototypes of personal archiving tools, he is looking to connect with software developers and industry leaders who can offer practical insight into how he can take these concepts to their next stage of development.
