Zhun Zhang is a 3D artist with experience in VFX supervising and creative directing, specializing in photorealistic rendering, VFX compositing, and motion design.
His first animated short film, Disillusion, was completed as part of his undergraduate education. Zhun managed and produced the film independently, from 3D general production to post-production within 6 months. Disillusion was shortlisted for motion design with a certification of A level for the Rookies Award in 2020.
After graduating with a BFA degree in Computer Art, Animation & VFX from the School of Visual Arts, he currently works as a contract freelancer on commercials, music videos, and NFT art projects. In 2020, his commercial shorts for the Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor were presented during ChinaJoy 2020.
At Centre for Digital Media, Zhun is a 3D generalist, motion designer, and sound designer for industry projects, where he creates assets and polished videos from conceptualization to polishing. His background and extensive knowledge of digital media allow him to visualize prototypes quickly and efficiently while providing valuable insight into more technical aspects.
