Community HR Digital Hub with Sacred Workplaces

Today’s workplaces often struggle to move beyond performative inclusion toward meaningful cultural transformation. Many organizations lack the practical tools and frameworks necessary to embed Indigenous cultural safety and Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) principles into their daily People and Culture practices. Without accessible guidance, systemic inequities persist, leaving teams without the resources to create environments where all individuals are truly seen, valued, and empowered. 

11:11 Studio has partnered with Sacred Workplaces to address this gap by developing a proof of concept for a decolonized Community HR Digital Hub. This interactive platform will combine technology with community-centered design to offer tangible, actionable resources - including policy templates, interactive learning modules, and mentorship-matching systems that help organizations dismantle barriers and nurture equitable, culturally safe workplaces. 

Our approach emphasizes co-creation and respect. We endeavored to weave Sacred Workplaces’ teachings into every stage to model the inclusive principles the Hub seeks to promote. By delivering a functional prototype supported by comprehensive documentation, our team will empower Sacred Workplaces’ internal developers to continue the platform’s evolution seamlessly. 

The anticipated outcome is more than a digital tool - it’s a step toward systemic change. The Community HR Digital Hub will equip organizations to reimagine leadership and workplace culture where equity is practiced daily, humility leads decision-making, and every person can contribute their full potential in a safe and respectful environment.
