Our project goal is a unique one: develop a web based authoring tool to help professors create virtual patients in order for their medical students to practice diagnostic and treatment procedures in a safe environment.
We will be rebuilding CyberPatient 1.0 which was developed entirely in Flash and required costly development work to create new patients and is not supported on Apple devices. We intend to resolve this problem by redeveloping the application in HTML5 and building a series of relational databases that allows for a robust patient creation process. We will redesign the user interface to enhance the user experience and ensure that the application is responsive across various platforms and devices. Our objective is to provide a clean and professional image that ensures that any user can navigate through the application, regardless of their technical experience.
