Mobile Game with BC Children's Hospital

Back to Projects

Our team is addressing the challenge of making heart surgery education accessible and engaging for children aged 8 to 12. Many young patients feel anxious and unprepared due to a lack of interactive, child-friendly resources that simplify complex medical concepts. This gap leaves children feeling overwhelmed, making it harder for them to approach their healthcare journey with confidence.

To tackle this problem, we will use brainstorming tools and solid research to refine creative and practical ideas. Techniques like Crazy 8, dot voting, and competitive analysis will help us generate diverse concepts while ensuring they are grounded in the needs of our target audience. We will also maintain close communication with our client, regularly aligning on objectives and refining our direction based on their feedback. Our team charter will guide internal collaboration and ensure effective division of responsibilities, keeping the project on track.

The anticipated outcome of our efforts is a playable adventure game that introduces children to foundational knowledge about heart surgery. Through fun and engaging gameplay, the game will educate children about their hearts, demystify the surgical process, and build their confidence. By blending education with interaction, the final product aims to create a meaningful and empowering experience for young patients.
